The Raven Speaks

An intensive weekend with

Andreas Kornevall

Friday 3rd, Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th May 2024

4:00pm-7:00pm (UK time) each day via Zoom

If you have taken a foundational course with Andreas previously, or have worked with Andreas before, this is a wonderful opportunity to join a small group for more in-depth practice. This is a very practical, intensive course, and participants should have had some experience already with altered states, light trance, visualisations and journeying.

The Sacred Tree, Yggdrasil encompasses nine sacred worlds, all brimming with the supernatural such as elves, gods and goddesses, trolls, giants, serpents, dragons, squirrels and eagles, nature spirits and much more. There are also other worlds yet to be explored as the tree is continually growing. We will set out to work with runes, asemic writing, myths, and the deep imagination to study, explore and experience these other-worlds that emanate and originate from within Yggdrasil. Also, ceremonies and meditations will be practiced together and the labyrinth journey will take a central role creating changing and profound ceremonial inner-engineering.

Traditionally, other-worlds and portals were accessed through the landscape in henge circles, stone circles, lonely rivers, sacred groves, remote hills, deep forests, and even empty alleyways and overgrown gardens. Part of this practice will also be encouraged to be done outdoors where you live in between the classes and beyond.

When the runes and riddles were known and found, and the myths and stories remembered, we gained a glimpse of what poet W.B. Yeats called “the trembling of the veil”.

For those who cannot attend live, there will be a recording available after the session has taken place. Simply book a ticket via the button below, and the recording link will be sent with the joining instructions.

Andreas Kornevall is an author, storyteller and ecological activist. He grew up in South America, Sweden and Switzerland, and now directs the Earth Restoration Service charity. In response to the sixth mass extinction, he was the catalyst behind the Life Cairn movement: memorials for species rendered extinct at human hands. As a storyteller, he works with old myths and fairytales which shine a torch light on life’s journey; his stories tend to gravitate around the Norse material which have led him to lecture and perform in universities and other educational centres. He is a member of the ‘Forn Sed’ (Old Customs Association) in Sweden which works closely with ancient Norse culture, traditions and spirituality, unearthing old legends, forgotten folklore and endangered Norse languages.  Through his charity he has planted over 200 woodlands in the United Kingdom and he has recently been voted by the University of Southern California as one of their 100 spiritual exemplars.
