This Privacy Statement sets out how The Centre for Myth, Cosmology and the Sacred [“The Centre”] uses and protects the information it is given by people who request to receive its Email Newsletter, or publications; who book places on its lectures and courses; or who use its website.

The Centre  will not collect any personal information unless it is specifically provided and will only use that information for the purposes for which consent has been given.

If someone asks to be added to our postal mailing list to receive  information about our publications, or subscribes to our email newsletter, it is necessary for us to keep a record of their name and address.

If someone books a place at a lecture or on a course, or orders a publication from us, we ask them to provide us with an email address or phone number which we keep so that we may contact them in case of a meeting cancellation or change of venue, if there is a query with their order, or for similar reasons.

People may subscribe to the Centre’s Email Newsletter using the link on the Centre’s website, or by request to the Centre. The Email Newsletter is distributed through Mailchimp and Mailchimp has its own Privacy Policy. If you unsubscribe from the Newsletter your email address is removed from the records.
