INTRODUCTION TO HEART SENSE WITH DR LOUISE LIVINGSTONE
Six week personal development course via Zoom:
Mondays 7:30pm – 9pm (UK Time)
17th Jan, 31st Jan, 14th Feb, 28th Feb, 14th March, 28th March 2022
“I’m so grateful to Louise for her Heart Sense process. Her research is based on solid academic foundations, but it doesn’t stop there. Her own remarkable story enriches her thought and allows us a glimpse of the transformative power of the process she describes. Most impressive is her generosity in leading others out of a narrow and constricting view of the world. She encourages us to try the process for ourselves and is on hand to help us do that, not as the superior expert but as a fellow traveller and seeker. As a consequence of her gentle tuition, my world has expanded. I look for signs and wonders and expect them to show up. I am less afraid to balance my critical thinking with my heart’s wisdom. And I have found a like minded community. Thank you, Louise!”

Louise defines Heart Sense as insightful perception and considered discernment regarding daily life developed through the wisdom of, and benevolent qualities associated with, the heart. Framed around Louise’s doctoral research, drawing on depth psychology, esoteric wisdom, religious/spiritual philosophy, holistic science and cultural history, these sessions will open you to the many layers of your own heart and offer a platform for your heart to speak its wisdom. Returning to heart is one of the most important actions that any human being can now take to engage wisely and purposefully in the turbulent world that we live in.
17 January 2022 – overview, creating the platform for our hearts to speak
31 January 2022 – meeting the physical heart (the heart of science)
14 February 2022 – meeting the emotional heart (the heart of culture)
28 February 2022 – meeting the symbolic/metaphoric heart
14 March 2022 – meeting the holistic heart
28 March 2022 – re-turning to heart, looking back over our journey
Sessions comprise heart-focussed contemplation, personal reflections, theory and contemplative exercises.

Comments from past participants:
“Louise is a wonderful teacher of heart-felt and embodied methods. Her insightful and engaging research exploring the multi-dimensional wisdom of the heart was very inspiring. In her Heart Sense Groups, Louise guides exercises related to the four aspects of the heart identified in her thesis, and holds a space for meaningful conversations and explorations. Louise’s work emphasises the importance of engaging with the world as a living entity, embodied awareness, and moving beyond a linear perception to feel the underlying interconnectedness of life.”
“It felt spiritually uplifting to be part of your Heart Sense group. It reminded me to balance my perception of the world, through the heart instead of always through the mind. The group felt safe and contained and full of kindness – a lovely retreat from some things that were going on at the time on our planet. Thank you.”
“I found yesterday something very special and it echoed into today when I went out into the beautiful day and sat by the Stour watching and thinking deeper at the fast flowing water in addition to the encouragement in so many places to realise the shoots of Spring. I find your voice lends itself so well to the focus of contemplation exercises, it is so easy to apply ourselves with you guiding us. Thank you so much.”
